  • Male, 26 years old
  • Clinical details:
    A mole in the nasolabial fold had been present since birth. The naevus measured 1 cm. in diameter and was moderately pigmented and hairy.
  • Diagnosis:
    Melanotic naevus containing foci of bone and fatty marrow.
  • Review diagnosis:
    Intradermal naevus with bony and myeloid stromal metaplasia.
