Male 72 years

Admitted with history of diarrhoea, fluid overload and cellulitis. Hb 85 g/l WCC 2.4 x 10^9/l and Plts 112 x10^9/l. CT shows large gastric mass and nodes. Blood smear (slide 208972). Bone marrow aspirate (slide 208975). Trephine biopsy (slide 208977)

Gender unknown - 1 year old

Severe anaemia - Hb 35g/l. Blood smear provided.

Case 3

Male 61 years

Presents in 2010 with arthralgia, myalgia and sweats. Sjogren syndrome diagnosed and commenced on prednisolone and azathioprine. Hb 88g/l WCC 6.3 and Plts 53. BM assessment declined. Lost to follow up but returns in 2012 with progressive pancytopenia: Hb 73g/l WCC 1.8 and Plts 14. BM aspirate provided.

Male 81 years

Short history of bleeding per rectum. Anal canal ulcer found on examination and biopsied. PMH includes long standing rheumatoid arthritis.

Presented with PUO, pancytopenia, deranged LFTs, lymphadenopathy, skin rash. Hb 80 g/l, WCC 1.5 x 10^9/l with neuts 1.2 and lymphs 0.26, Plts 115 x 10^9/l. CRP 151. Albumin 31g/l. CT showed cervical nodes and lung nodules of uncertain aetiology. BM trephine biopsy provided.
