Specimen: TURBT.

Macro: Multiple chips of tissue.

Immunohistochemistry:
Cytokertain stain included.

Bladder lesions and right ureterocele. Horseshoe kidney.



Specimen: TURBT.

Macro: 2g of chippings.

Immunohistochemistry:
AE1AE3 negative, CD68 positive and special stains (ZN negative and von Kossa positive).

Testicular tumour on US. Normal markers.



Specimen: Left testis.

Macro: Testis and coverings 50 x 35 x 25mm with 28mm length of cord. On sectioning, the testis measures 36 x 24mm and the tunica vaginalis is mobile. Superiorly, there is a pale dark brown nodule which is well circumscribed, 5mm in diameter.

Immunohistochemistry:
shows that the tumour is positive for the markers inhibin, calretinin, vimentin and melan-A. The markers S100, PLAP and OCT3/4 are negative.

Exophytic lesion right kidney.



Specimen: Partial Nephrectomy.

Macro: Wedge of kidney 30x20x10mm containing a smooth exophytic mass 18mm maximum dimension.

Immunohistochemistry:
PAX8+, EMA+ and strong CK7+, mainly in a membranous distribution. Vimentin positivity is present towards one cellular pole. CD10, TTF1, thyroglobulin, WT1, and synaptophysin are negative. Congo Red-ve.

Specimen: Partial Cystectomy - Dome of bladder.

Macro: Partial cystectomy specimen 145 x 120 x 65mm, bladder mucosa 55mm diameter. There is a papillary solid tumour extending into bladder 52 x 45 x 40mm with a cystic and mucinous component. No urachal tract identified.

Immunohistochemistry:
CK7-, CK20+, focal TTF1+, CDX 2+ and PSA-.

Left testis tumour with raised tumour markers.



Specimen: left orchidectmy.

Macro: A testis with surrounding tunica vaginalis 6.5 x 5 x 4cm and 5.5cm of spermatic cord, weighing 96g. The testis is enlarged and almost completely replaced by a solid white and yellow tumour 5 x 3.5 x 3cm. The tumour extends out of the testis into the paratesticular tissues with nodules of tumour within the spermatic cord.
