Large necrotic tumour left bladder wall. Incomplete resection.



Specimen: TURBT, 18g.

Macro: 18g of tissue cuttings.

Immunohistochemistry:
MNF116 - sparse paranuclear dot-like immunopositivity, diffuse immunoposivitiy for CD56 with focal immunopositivity for synaptophysin. There is immunonegativity for chromogranin, TTF1, Fli1, PSA.

Specimen: Right kidney.

Macro: A nephrectomy specimen 160 x 100 x 68mm with attached ureter 55mm in length. The kidney contains a 95mm diameter lobulated lesion with a yellow and white solid cut surface.

Hard, irregular left testis. Looks like tumour on ultrasound.



Specimen: Left testis and cord.

Macro: Intact testis with overlying freely mobile tunica vaginalis. On bisecting, entire testis rather firm and pale in appearance with no discrete tumour obvious macroscopically.

Immunohistochemistry:
Inhibin strongly positive.

Macro: Partial nephrectomy measuring 23x20x9mm including a 18mm tumour with yellow-orange cut surface, 3mm from renal parenchymal margin.

Immunohistochemistry:
CK7, vimentin, EMA, 34bE12 strongly and diffusely positive. CD10, CD117, RCC and AMACR negative.

Tumour right kidney. Open partial nephrectomy.



Specimen: Right partial nephrectomy.

Macro: Partial nephrectomy measuring 60x45x30mm and including a well circumscibed tumour with a variegated cut surface, measuring 30mm in maximum dimension and lying 2m from the surgical deep margin.

Immunohistochemistry:
Diffuse positivity for CD117 and e-cadherin. Patchy positivity for CK7 (predominantly at tumour periphery), focal staining for CD10 and weak nuclear staining for PAX-8. Vimentin negative.

Areas positive for CD30, AE1/3 and OCT3/4. other areas positive for Glypican3 and AFP. HCG negative.

Caucasian obese (BMI 37) with renal tumour. Tumour was disclosed during examination for back pain and microscopic hematuria. Tumour was located on the pole of the right kidney. CT, USG: 30 mm pT1a cN0 cM0 GII, RENAL score 9ph. Laparoscopic resection was performed, tumour measured 3 x 3.5 x 3 cm.



Specimen: Kidney.

Macro: 3.5cm mass in right kidney.

Immunohistochemistry:
Positive stains: vimentin, CK 7 focally, CANH 9 (non specific). Negative stains: TFE3, CK 20, AMACR. Molecular-genetic findings: no VHL gene mutation, methylation status of VHL normal, LOH3p negative, no TCEB1 gene mutation.
