Macro: Within the kidney confined by the capsule was a tan coloured partly haemorrhagic mass measuring 35mm maximally.

Right testicular mass on ultrasound. Normal tumour markers.



Specimen: Testis Tumour.

Macro: Testis 62x38x20mm with cord 65mm in length and 10mm in diameter. Cut section shows a tumour in the lower pole of the testis measuring 16x15x13mm. The tumour appears confined to the testis with no extension into the rete or epididymis or spermatic cord.

Right testicular mass with a history of tumour. ?tumour right inflammatory or haemorrhagic.



Specimen: Right testis.

Macro: Orchidectomy weighing 309g. Testis- 150x90x55mm, spermatic cord-130x20mm. Externally - smooth and lobulated. Cut surface- entire testis replaced by solid tan tumour showing areas of hemorrhage and necrosis. It involved the cord, epididymis and rete testis. No breach of tunica albuginea present.

Immunohistochemistry:
CD20, CD79a and Bcl-2 positive. Cyclin D1, CD23, CD10, Tdt, CD99, CD43, CD138, CD117 and EBV negative. Weak patchy nuclear positivity with BCl-6 and MUM-1. Ki-67 proliferation index - 95%

Right radical nephrectomy for renal tumour, with extension into inferior vena cava.



Specimen: Kidney: Radical nephrectomy. Slide of hilar lymph node.

Macro: The kidney showed confluent nodules of cream-coloured tumour, measuring 12cm in maximum diameter and showing macroscopic extension into hilar fat and present at renal vein resection margin. One involved hilar lymph node is also identified (the submitted slide).
