Macroscopic description:
4mm diameter keratotic skin punch biopsy, 6mm deep bisected.

Female 33 years

Cyst below left elbow for 6 months. Appeared suddenly and not changed since.

Specimen: soft tissue left elbow.

Macroscopic description:
A firm pale lesion 20x18x8mm. The cut surface is solid and pale white with focal yellowish areas at the periphery.

Painful swelling lower abdomen for years, palpable subcutaneous welling. USS ?Nerve sheath tumour, clinically ?angiolipoma.

Specimen: skin lower abdomen.

Macroscopic description:
A firm, nodular structure with adherent fat measuring 15x8x5mm. The specimen is bisected to reveal a grey-node-like appearance.

Male 77 years

Previous renal tumour. Large soft tissue mass left chest wall and lesions anterior neck and parietal scalp. Cutaneous metastases.

Specimen: Excision of lesion right parietal scalp.

Macroscopic description:
An ellipse of skin measuring 40x25x5mm with a central blue nodule 20x19x4mm.

Immunohistochemistry:
CD10, EMA, Vimentin, CAM5.2, AE1/3 and renal carcinoma antibody positive. CEA, S100, HMB45, MelanA, CK7, CK20, BerEp4, Actin and Desmin - negative.

Male 69 years

Patient with an atypical lesion on his back.

Specimen: skin excision - back.

Grey nodular lesion 16x14mm which is 2mm from nearest margin.
