Abdominal mass. Laparoscopic adrenalectomy. Circumscribed tan lesion 25mm. No adrenal seen. (+) synaptophysin, chromogranin, CD56, GATA3, S100. (-) AE1/3, Inhibin. Patchy positive SDHB.

Incidentally detected large left adrenal tumour. Non functioning. Specimen contains adrenal gland and yellow tumour. 38mm. (+) Melana A, calretinin, inhibin, synaptophysin. (-) HMB45 Chromogranin. Ki67 = 5%.

Right thyroid nodule. 23g thyroid lobe with solid cream, fibrous nodule bulging at capsule, 38mm.

Total thyroidectomy. Biopsy proven metastatic differentiated thyroid carcinoma on vertebral core biopsy. Multinodular cut surface to both lobes. Largest is in left lobe. 50mm. Section of that nodule (a - 607092.svs) and adjacent tissue (b - 607122.svs).
