Female early 30's parathyroidectomy 3 years ago, now continuing hyperparathyroidism, tissue in scar and mid trachea level VI. Tissue taken for frozen section.

Male 70 years

Male late 70's. 46mm pancreatic tumour, recent left nephrectomy for oncocytoma ? second primary (CA 19.9=115)

Female 70 years

Female in 70's UKCTOCS trial, laparoscopic biopsy showed adenocarcinoma, tumour involving appendix, local nodes, one ovary, omentum with peritoneal serosal deposits on bowel. Block of appendix.

Female 60 years

Female mid 60's, left thyroid mass, cytology follicular, left thyroid lobectomy weighing 39g with a mass occupying most of the lobe.

Sex unknown 50 years

Sex not given, age early 50's, Cushing's syndrome, bilateral adrenal masses with imaging suggesting macronodular hyperplasia. Left adrenalectomy was154g and 51mm in size. Cut surface homogeneous yellow without haemorrhage or necrosis. Circumscribed margins with multiple nodules evident 2 H+E slides C and E.

Female 50 years

Female mid 50's, firm nodule in thyroid isthmus 14mm in size.
