Large nodes right axilla, ?lymphoma, Nodes vary 2-3.5cm. On treatment for ulcerative colitis and osteoarthritis. Screening mammography October 2010 Normal.

Macroscopic description:
Five cores, longest 12 x 1mm.

Intact cyst 6x4.3cm; 54g. Contains solid brown material.

Two fragments of pale tissue up to 3mm.

Left thoracotomy and resection of large pleural tumour.

Macroscopic description:
Bosselated smooth surfaced mass 15x11x7.5cm attached to a wedge of lung 4cm in greatest dimension.

Specimen: Left pleural tumour.

Left mandibular biopsy, trauma to jaw as a child, assymetry since. Radiology showed multilocular 'soap bubble' appearance.

Macroscopic description:
Multiple pieces of bony tissue, largest up to 12mm.

Specimen: Bone.

Oesophageal cancer. Positive for CAM5.2, synaptophysin and (focally) CD45, TTF-1 and chromogranin A.

Macroscopic description:
4 grey fragments 2-5mm maximum.

Specimen: Oesophageal biopsies.

Macroscopic description:
The upper lobe of a right lung containing a cavitating lesion 27x25x32mm abutting the pleura and containing necrotic material.

Specimen: Right lung, upper lobectomy.

Persistent post menopausal bleeding. Previous curettings proliferative. Underwent hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.

Macroscopic description:
Firm ovary 2.5 x 2 x 2cm uniformly white on section.

Specimen: Right ovary.

Ulcer and firm mass adjacent to left mandible, left floor of mouth.

Macroscopic description:
Punch biopsy 5mm.

Specimen: Oral.
