Male 18 years

Left testicular tumour. Testis, epididymis and spermatic cord, the testis measuring 55 x 32 x 28mm. The spermatic cord measures 80mm in length. The tunica albuginea is intact throughout. Slicing the testis reveals a well circumscribed, apparently, encapsulated cyst 16mm maximum diameter, not quite reaching the capsule. The rest of the testis is unremarkable.

Presented with swelling on mons pubis. The specimen received macroscopically comprised a skin lined portion of tissue measuring 1.3 x 0.7 x 0.5cm. This contained a nodule within the dermis measuring approximately 1.2cm in maximal dimension.

Lump left axilla. No other problems. No history of breast disease. Normal mammography. A bosselated mass of fatty tissue, 3.5 x 2.8 x 2 cm. Immunocytochemical staining positive for CK7 and ER, negative for CK20 and LL002 (cytokeratin 14).

Presented with lump in right breast. Two portions of fibroadipose tissue were received macroscopically, the largest of which measured 5cm in maximal dimension. On cut surface there was evidence of fibrosis.

Female 65 years

Presented with signs of virilisation and hirsutism, was investigated and a hysterectomy performed. The cut surface of the right ovary revealed a circumscribed grey tumour measuring 1.5 x 1.1 x 0.6cm. This was entirely within the substance of the ovary.
