Pregnant Asian female with premature rupture of membranes at 29 weeks. Caesarean section performed at 34 weeks. Multiple nodules and plaques over the peritoneum ?TB. Section of the peritoneal biopsy.

Specimen: Nephrectomy with well-defined unencapsulated mahogany brown tumour with a central scar in the upper pole.

CK7 positive (patchy).

Specimen: R hemicolectomy; 1- proximal small bowel diverticulum containing mural tumour with a perforation, 2- two separate 10mm nodules of mural tumour in distal ileum, 3- Ileocaecal intussusception at the lead point of which is 20mm mural tumour nodule. Section is from the diverticulum.

Immunohistochemistry:
Melan A and S100 positive.

Left ovarian cyst weighing 670g, measuring 120 x 110 x 75mm. wall is up to 5mm thick. The lumen contains gelatinous material and hair. Teeth are present in the wall.

Para-aortic mass biopsy. 4 pieces of tissue, the largest 18mm in maximum dimension. Testes are clinically normal.

Immunohistochemistry:
PLAP strongly positive, CD117 positive, patchy positivity for CD30 and HCG. Background lymphocytes positive for CD45, CD3, CD5 and CD20. ALK1, CK8/18, AE1/3 negative.

Slowly growing left parotid mass since 2 years ?pleomorphic adenoma.

Immunohistochemistry:
AE1/3, Cam5.2, S100, p63.

Large endocervical polyp. Hysteroscopy, D&C and polypectomy performed.

Specimen: Endocervical polyp: smooth surfaced polyp 53 x 35 x 20mm, pale and fleshy with a haemorrhagic core.

Immunohistochemistry:
Desmin, Myogenin, Beta catenin (weak), CD99 and Ki67>90% positive. CK8/18, S100, Smooth muscle actin, Smooth muscle myosin and Caldesmon negative.

Enlarged lymph node right side of neck.

Male 57 years

'Clinically Ca' testicular mass. Testis 58 x 35 x 25mm with 75mm of cord. Testis is diffusely firm and pale.

Immunohistochemistry:
Lesional cells are positive for CD45, CD117 and bcl-2. CD79a equivocal. Ki-67 25%. Scattered S100 positive cells. CD20, CD3, CD5, Bob-1, ALK1, CD138, CD34, Cyclin D1, CK8/18, CKAE1/3, CD68, CD15 all negative.
