Pylorous - preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy. Jaundice due to ampullary tumour.

Immunohistochemistry:
CD56, chromogranin A and synaptophysin +ve, Ki67 proliferation greater than 20%.

Macroscopic description:
19mm ampullary nodule.

Uterus. Post c/s haemorrhage. Hysterectomy for haemostasis.

Macroscopic description:
Bulky uterus 160x130x100mm. Blood in endometrial cavity. Poorly fixed. No masses. No cervix present.

Male 63 years

Umbilicus. Ulcerating lesion in umbilicus for 3 months. Umbilicus excised.

Immunohistochemistry:
CEA, CK7 and CA19.9 positive. CK20, TTF-1 and PSA negative.

Macroscopic description:
Ellipse of skin 57mm by up to 29mm with an umbilicus in the centre. There is deeper fatty tissue down to 15mm. The cut surface shows a firm lesion, ?tumour arising in the umbilicus and extending down to the deep margin 22mm x20mm deep. ?Not excised at the deep margin.

Axillary lymph node

Immunohistochemistry:
Positive - AE1/AE3, CAM5.2, CK20, CD56, synaptophysin, chromogranin. Negative: LCA, S100, TTF-1, CK-7. Lump on hand, axillary lymphadenopathy.

Macroscopic description:
Axillary disection, nine nodes recovered the largest 6cm in diameter.
