Ovarian cyst. An intact multilocular cyst 70 x 40 x 30mm full of mucus and cheesy material.

Female 59 years

Mass in stomach, excision. A circumscribed firm pale mass 55 x 30 x 35mm in gastric wall.

Immunohistochemistry:
BCL2, Actin and CD34 positive. Desmin, S100 protein, AE1/AE3, CD117 negative.

Male 69 years

Ex-heavy smoker. SPN in left uper lobe with increased uptake on PET. Frozen section malignant. Completion left upper lobectomy following wedge resection and frozen section which showed adenocarcinoma. Pale firm area in biopsy cavity (inked green after clip removal) ?residual tumour. Remainder of lobe unremarkable.

Male 25 years

Nodule biopsy from scalp. Skin ellipse 22 x 7mm with attached underlying partly cystic body 16mm, including firm sebaceous material.

Female 81 years

PUJ - abscess/?tumour.

Immunohistochemistry:
?CD68+, AE1/AE2-, S100-. The kidney measures 100 x 100 x 70mm. The external surface showed scarring. On slicing, the pelvicalyceal system is dilated and filled with pus. There are extensive ?inflammatory changes.

Male 49 years

Swelling left elbow. ?Bursa, ?gouty tophus. Irregular soft tissue up to 50mm in diameter. On sectioning there were chalky areas.

Male 20 years

Mole on hand. An oval piece of skin 6 x 5mm. The surface is pigmented.

Female 62 years

Right ovarian mass, ?benign. No deposits seen. Right ovary occupied by a cyst 350 x 225mm with inspissated contents. It contains a solid area 120 x 60 x 50mm with a white gritty cut surface.

Female 39 years

Right breast lump, up to 14mm. A well circumscribed fibrous nodule 23 x 18 x 15mm.

Male 7 years

Cyst root of neck/posterior triangle. Mucoid cyst 50mm across.

Male age unknown

Suspect mass on ultrasound. Rasied LFT and LDH. Right inguinal orchidectomy. The testis measures 80 x 50 x 45mm. On slicing there is a haemorrhagic necrotic tumour occupying the entire testis.

Female 47 years

Left lower lobe tumour in bronchus. Left lower lung with 37 x 15mm polypoid tumour (a long thin one) obstructing the bronchus with a small area of attachment. Focal ?calcification.
